Beginner Handgun Class – USCCA

BEGINNER HANDGUN CLASS
This 4 hour basic handgun safety course is designed to provide basic instruction on your firearm mechanics, operation, safety handling, techniques and range safety protocols. This class consists of classroom instruction and shooting range instruction. It is intended for the person who desires to gain confidence with their firearm, whether it be new or a refresher.
IMPORTANT SAFETY PROCEDURES:
- Pistol safety and pistol storage
- Pistol parts and how they work
- Ammunition fundamentals
- Reinforce fundamentals of shooting; focusing on your grip, trigger, stance & sights
- Range environment, etiquette, and safety commands
- and so much more…
PRACTICAL’S YOU’LL LEARN:
- How to disassemble and reassemble your firearm
- How to clean and properly maintain your firearm
- How to load your magazine cartridges
- How to clear common pistol stoppages
- How to store and conceal your firearm
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- You DO require your own firearm to take this class.
- You DO require a pistol cleaning kit and pad
- It is recommended to have your pistol’s manual for reference
This course is $99 and taught by a USCCA Certified Instructor, NRA Law Enforcement Instructor and Chief Range Safety Officer.
Certificates will be provided at the end of the successful completion of the course.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. You must be 21 years of age or older.
2. You must be able to demonstrate competency with a firearm.
3. It is imperative to follow your instructors instructions both in class and at the range.

Seating is limited; thus, a reservation deposit of $99 is required and non-refundable. Refunds are only available if cancellation is requested 7 business days prior to scheduled class date; however, a $50 administration fee would apply. You may only reschedule once and must take the rescheduled class within 30 days of the original scheduled class. Registration is transferable to another student; however, all the same rules apply.
