Our Armed Security Course has been Intentionally Designed for New and Professional Officers.
This Armed Security Officer course is designed for those who already have a Class D License and want to qualify for Florida’s Class G Firearms License. The 28-hour training includes classroom instruction, firearm safety, use-of-force laws, and live-fire range practice. Certified firearms instructors guide you through proper handling, maintenance, and marksmanship skills. After completing the course and qualifying at the range, you will be eligible to work in armed security positions across Florida. This program helps expand your career opportunities while ensuring you meet all legal requirements for carrying a firearm on duty.
